Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney are reportedly dating, multiple sources confirmed to US outlets after a TikTok clip went viral, though everyone insists it’s “casual.” The buzz first started when fans spotted the pair strolling through Venice after Jeff Bezos’ wedding, where both were guests. Now, sources tell Page Six the 44-year-old music mogul has been “pursuing” the 27-year-old Euphoria star ever since.

While neither party has confirmed the same, an insider alleged that Sydney, who recently ended her engagement, is simply enjoying her 20s, going on dates and keeping things light. One source said, “She’s dating, that’s it.” Meanwhile, another insider familiar with the situation confirmed that Braun has been “obsessed” with Sydney ever since they met at the billionaire’s wedding. “It’s still new,” the source said. The two first sparked rumours back in June when they were seen together in Venice, Italy. Both were invited as guests, and that’s reportedly where they first met. While Sydney also spent time with Tom Brady and Orlando Bloom during the wedding festivities, Scooter was the one who grabbed her attention. Since then, they’ve been on more dates. Whether the Americana actor feels as strongly as Braun is less clear. Insiders told PEOPLE, it’s not super serious yet, but “definitely more than just a one-off hookup.”

Sydney was previously engaged to a Chiago-based businessman Jonathan Davino. The two started dating in 2018, got engaged in 2022, but called off their engagement this year. Sydney later confirmed in an interview that she ended it because “it didn’t feel right” and that she wants to focus on her career, which is at its peak right now with Euphoria season 3, her boxing biopic Christy premiering at TIFF this month, and The Housemaid coming to theaters at Christmas.
