FX premiered the gripping sci-fi horror series Alien: Earth on August 12, 2025. The program revitalizes Alien with suspense, future technology, and psychological drama. Sydney Chandler stars as Wendy, a key character. Wendy, the first human consciousness put into a synthetic adult body, is pivotal to the war as she struggles with identity, power, and survival. Wendy may be Alien: Earth’s most deadly villain due to her hybridity, remarkable psychic skills, and moral ambiguity, which allow her to manipulate humans and Xenomorphs. The FCC says the goal of these new requirements would be…
WASHINGTON (AP) — A federal appeals court panel has ruled that President Donald Trump cannot use an 18th-century wartime law to speed the deportations of people his administration accuses of being in a Venezuelan gang. The decision blocking an administration priority is destined for a showdown at the U.S. Supreme Court. Two judges on a three-judge panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, in the ruling Tuesday, agreed with immigrant rights lawyers and lower court judges who argued the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 was not intended to be used against gangs such as Tren de Aragua, which the…
Viral social media posts claimed dozens of children across the Commonwealth were abducted in a “mass kidnapping.” Authorities are debunking the rumors. VIRGINIA, USA — If you have seen TikToks or videos on social media recently about a “mass kidnapping” of children in Virginia, state police told 13News Now that they’ve seen them, too — and that they aren’t true. Videos that quickly spread on TikTok created several conspiracies about mass abductions, with just one video claiming that there was a “mass abduction” of children since August 1 in the state. 13News Now asked Virginia State Police if there was…
I’ve seen some weird UFO videos before, but this one might just take the cake. As clear as it is, the length of the video and the person taking the video’s commentary show that this isn’t a hoax. At least not one made by the cameraman.Take a look at the video below, and then sound off by sending us a message with our station’s app. What Was Seen Over The Skies Of Idaho & UtahAccording to Scott C. Waring claims on UFO Sightings Daily, a weird “jellyfish” UFO was captured on video in the early morning on Tuesday, September 2nd, around…

A team of scientists from the SETI Institute and the University of California at Davis documented, for the first time, humpback whales producing large bubble rings, like a human smoker blowing smoke rings, during friendly interactions with humans. This previously little studied behavior may represent play or communication. Humpback whales are already known for using bubbles to corral prey and creating bubble trails and bursts when competing to escort a female whale. These new observations show humpback whales producing bubble rings during friendly encounters with humans. This finding contributes to the WhaleSETI team’s broader goal of studying non-human intelligence to…
AI is reshaping countless aspects of life. But so far, its applications have focused mostly on our singular species, Homo sapiens. What if humans used AI to better understand the nonhuman beings with whom we share the planet? We are just now opening a portal to that world. Advancements in machine learning and robotics are making possible the study of nonhuman animal communication with unprecedented depth and precision. Researchers are getting closer to identifying the unique names that elephants use for each other; understanding how moths hear the distress calls of plants; and decoding the complex sounds of sperm whales, a…
