Independent historian James Bartley has investigated alien abductions, particularly Reptilian and military abductions (Milabs) for over thirty years. In the latter half, he discussed ET abductions, military involvement, hybrids, and the power of the Reptilians. His long-standing fascination with alien abduction phenomena intensified after a life-altering ET encounter in 1990. He differentiated between various ET beings, particularly the notorious Reptilians, whom he described as having multiple origins including subterrestrial (living underground), extraterrestrial, and interdimensional. “Some of the abducting beings commonly referred to as Greys… actually work for the Reptilians,” he commented.

According to Bartley, some of the Air Force personnel were drugged and kidnapped, and then taken to an underground base where they interacted with an alien presence. He believes that there has been military involvement with alien technology since the 1940s, which was first developed from crash retrievals.
